On 20 September, the LivableCities project was highlighted by the partner RPTU during the University Conference on Transport that took place in Meißen (Germany).
This conference brings together academics from transport departments and institutes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to discuss current research topics.
At the conference, the project was presented and its content discussed during a
workshop entitled ‘Researching and teaching blue-green
infrastructure: a key topic in climate-resilient infrastructure planning’, attended by 25
researchers from 15 different universities in Germany and Austria.
The goal of this workshop led by Maximilian Krauß (RPTU – imove) was to gain an overview of how the topic of blue-green infrastructure is integrated into German-speaking teaching and research institutions (primarily in the field of transport) and to jointly explore opportunities for further development.
