On 29 May, to mark National Urban Development Day, local residents gathered in the courtyard at Jostweg 8–10 for a convivial afternoon centred on conversation and community spirit.

Over coffee, cakes and activities for the children, this gathering helped to strengthen ties between residents and share the latest news on ongoing projects in the neighbourhood.

In particular, the Neighbourhood Management Team presented the progress made on the new Danziger Platz community centre, developments around Thomas-Nast-Park, and the LivableCities project.

The latter focuses on the development of blue-green infrastructure as a means of making neighbourhoods more livable, more resilient and better equipped to tackle urban and climate challenges.

This event thus provided a unique opportunity to share information, exchange views and collectively reflect on the neighbourhood’s future — a further step towards more liveable cities for everyone.
